TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The vehicle may be driven, tested (including road tests outside the workshop), repaired and parked entirely at the risk and responsibility of the customer. In the event of any accident or damage during this process, the repair cost will be borne by the customer and/or claimed through the vehicle’s valid insurance.
  2. The customer agrees to indemnify DQ Car Care against any loss or damage to the vehicle, and against any injury, loss of life or damage to third-party property arising out of the repairing, servicing or test-driving of the vehicle while it is in the custody of DQ Car Care. The customer confirms that the vehicle is covered by a valid insurance policy.
  3. It may not be practically possible to record all existing dents, scratches, cracked glasses, damaged lights, electrical / mechanical issues or accessories on the vehicle at the time of acceptance. If such defects are noticed during repair or service, the decision of the workshop in-charge shall be final.
  4. DQ Car Care shall not be liable for any delay in vehicle delivery or procurement of parts due to reasons beyond its control (including parts availability, transport delays, or force majeure).
  5. Customers are advised to remove all valuables (cash, electronics, jewellery, etc.) from the vehicle before handing it over. DQ Car Care will not be responsible for loss or damage to any personal belongings left inside the vehicle.
  6. The customer agrees to pay all service charges (including labour, spare parts and applicable taxes) before taking delivery of the vehicle. Payment must be made by cash, credit card or debit card. If full payment is not made within 7 days from the date on which the vehicle is ready, DQ Car Care may charge interest at 14% per annum on the outstanding amount.
  7. The customer shall take delivery of the vehicle within 24 hours after being informed that the work is completed. If the vehicle is not collected within this period, parking charges of ₹100 per day will be applicable in addition to all repair charges.
  8. DQ Car Care shall have a lien on the vehicle until all outstanding dues are fully settled.
  9. Vehicle delivery will not be made without the original receipt. DQ Car Care’s responsibility shall cease immediately upon delivery of the vehicle to the customer.
  10. Salvaged parts or replaced components must be collected by the customer at the time of delivery. Any salvage not collected will be disposed of and cannot be claimed later.
  11. All disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be settled through mutual discussions. In the event of a dispute which cannot be resolved amicably, jurisdiction shall lie exclusively with the courts of Ernakulam.
  12. All services are subject to force majeure conditions.
